Membership Information

​

Membership in CSAG is open to anyone interested in straw art including those residing out-of-state and internationally. Dues must be paid by January 1 to ensure receipt of all newsletter issues for the coming year although anyone can join at any time of year.

Membership Benefits

​

  • Receive Straw Talk, our newsletter, four times a year (International members receive a pdf of the newsletter.)

  • Attend district weave-ins

  • Attend the CSAG annual teaching convention

  • Teach at CSAG convention

  • Vote at the CSAG annual meeting

  • Hold office in the guild

​

The Guild is divided into three districts:

​

  • Southern District consisting of Santa Barbara, Ventura, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, Riverside, Imperial, and San Diego counties

  • Central District consisting of Marin, San Francisco, Contra Costa, San Mateo, Alameda, San Joaquin, Calaveras, Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, Tuolumne, Mono, Monterey, San Benito, Mariposa, Merced, Fresno, Madera, Kings, Tulare, Inyo, San Luis Obispo, and Kern counties

  • Northern District consisting of Del Norte, Siskiyou, Modoc, Humboldt, Trinity, Shasta, Lassen, Tehama, Plumas, Glenn, Mendocino, Butte, Sierra, Lake, Colusa, Sutter, Yuba, Nevada, Placer, Napa, Sonoma, Yolo, Sacramento, El Dorado, Solano, Amador, and Alpine counties

Each district has a director who schedules weave-ins throughout the year as often as possible. Some gatherings may be scheduled that involve two districts. In addition, various Make & Take or demonstrations in the community provide opportunities for member involvement throughout the year.

Annual Dues (U.S. Funds only)

​

$20.00 for California residents,

out-of-state, and international members.

​
